My Number Card — Renewal
Your My Number Card has two separate expiry dates: the card itself is valid for 10 years (5 years for those under 18), while the embedded digital certificate expires every 5 years. Renewing the digital certificate requires a visit to the municipal office, but renewing the card itself can be done via online application (smartphone or PC), mail, or photo booth if you have the Application ID on your renewal notice.

My Number Card — New Application
You can apply for a My Number Card via smartphone, PC, mail, or a photo booth. After applying, your municipality will send you a pickup notice in 1–2 months. You must collect the card in person at the municipal office. Once you have the card, you can also register it as your health insurance card via MynaPortal.
My Number Card — PIN Reset
If you've forgotten your PIN or your card has been locked due to too many failed attempts, you can reset it at your municipal office. If you still remember one of your two PINs, you may also be able to reset the other at a convenience store kiosk terminal.
