My Number Card Address Update
If you have a My Number Card, you need to update your address after moving. Present your card when submitting your move-in notification (or change-of-address notification if moving within the same city) and it will be handled at the same counter.

Move-In Notification
Register your address at the city or ward office of your new location. If moving from within Japan, you must complete the move-out notification first. If arriving from abroad for the first time, no move-out certificate is required.
Change of Address (Same City)
Required when moving within the same city or ward. This single procedure replaces both the move-out and move-in notifications.
