✓Residence Card

✓ID document (driver's license, My Number Card, etc.)

✓My Number Card (if you have one)

✓Personal seal / hanko (if registered)

Steps

Visit your city / ward office within 14 days of your move date

Pick up a change-of-address form and fill it in

Submit your Residence Card (foreigners) or ID document

Your new address will be printed on the back of your Residence Card (foreigners)

Since you are staying in the same city / ward, no Move-Out Certificate is needed

•

Unlike moving to a different city, this is completed in a single visit

•

If you are enrolled in National Health Insurance, bring your Qualification Confirmation Card or valid insurance card / eligibility notice (some municipalities require this to update your address)
